The center was started back in 1984 and it took care only of male patients.
The center has started various activities to ensure that the boys are busy and hence making them realize that they are of great importance and that they are just like anyone else in the society. There is usually the occupation therapy where they do colorings, printing and necklaces which are sold in order to earn some income for the center. They are always involved in the normal activities of the entire center (kitchen, gardening, firewood).
Medical services
They are taken care of by the hospital. The more complicated situations are referred to more advanced places. Eg those who need surgery to stretch the legs, are referred.
They are solely maintained by the center itself without assistance from the society, unless occasionally when it happens that there is some relief food.
These boys are also entitled to leisure times, such holidays. However, since the relatives never turn up to visit them, it is the duty of the center to ensure that they are taken out to some interesting areas where they can enjoy and refresh. This is also an extra expense that needs to be taken care of.
