Many times the volunteers spend a lot of money for the game parks but they ignore that nature is breath taking even around the hospital. It is possible to have very nice sightseeing even walking on foot.
For example Chaaria is surrounded by wonderful water falls: some are a bit far like the one between Nkandone and Njuthine. To go there you must use a car because the distance is 7 Kilometers.
But the water falls of Mbajone are quite near, at about 4 kilometers from the hospital.
They are reachable either using the main road or passing through a very nice short cut. The Mbajone falls are normally very full of water even in the dry season, but of course the best time to go is immediately after the rainy season when they are swollen and brouwnish in colour and when the surrounding woods are very green.
Going to Mbajone falls can be done in an afternoon, starting walking as from 2.00pm. doing so the volunteers will be on their way back just at the time of sun set and the landscape they will admire at dusk will be another wonderful experience.
