Chaaria is a dream to be fulfilled day after day.
A place where all the poor and sick are welcomed and taken care of.
I would love to do more for these people
who have nothing
who suffer from illnesses that are easy to cure
if only, there were the means.
I would love to stop saying, “go somewhere else
because we cannot take care of you”.
Also because to go somewhere else, here
means to add more fatigue, more sweat, more pain
for men , women and children
who have already walked for days.
And to go where?
The public hospitals sometimes lack the facilities,
those that are private are too expensive.
This is why I stubbornly feel that our hospital
Is a sign of hope for these people.
There is not everything here but we do what is possible.
Better, what is impossible.
That which moves me, moves us,
Is the charity towards others, towards everyone.
No one is excluded.
Jesus told us to be present
in the smallest and in the most outcast.
This is what we do every single day.
