We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude
to our friends from London, who are leaving Chaaria today after a very nice
time, spent together in service and in fraternity.
On top of them, we wish to thank also
Silvana, Italian nurse based in London, ho has left us just yesterday, after 3
weeks of real commitment to our patients.
“May God reward you for the good you have
done to the sick and the poor here in Chaaria”.
We hope you will talk about Chaaria in
London, so that more volunteers from the UK may come to help us, and to live an
adventure of service with us.
Today we also greet Cristiana, psychiatrist
from Turin: we have really appreciated her job, above all in trying to improve
the anti-epileptic and anti-psychotic treatment of the mentally challenged boys
admitted in our Centre.
Cristiana has also seen many outpatients
and has admitted some very difficult psychosis. Psychiatry is always difficult,
but I sincerely believe we have done something good for a category of patients
who are actually very poor, because abandoned by their families and stigmatized
by the society.
A big hug and a huge thanksgiving for all
of them.
