Yesterday we have welcomed in Chaaria
Andrew, consultant gynecologist and obstetrician from Malta.
He is our first volunteer from the Island
and we strongly hope he will be the first of a long list.
He has already started working so much since
morning, trying to cope with outpatients, inpatients and operations.
He is assisted by our Kanyua in visiting
the clients and he comes in theater any time we have a gynecological operation.
Andrew will stay in Chaaria for a month,
and I am sure he will find so much to do that he will be eventually very tired
but also much fulfilled.
We wish him a nice stay in Chaaria and a
profitable working experience, for the good of many patients. I am sure I will
also learn a lot from him.
Once again we must say thank you to our
friend Mike, who is our ambassador not only in Germany (his Country of origin),
but also in Malta where he lives.

with Giovanni, a resident doctor in surgery from Turin(Italy), during his first
caesarean section in Chaaria.
