We are sincerely grateful to our County Health Minister, Dr William M. Muraah, who has today visited our hospital in Chaaria.
It has been a wonderful moment of sharing in which we have really enjoyed the positive remarks, the encouragements and the pledges for help from the County Government.
Dr Muraah has visited every single department of the hospital and of the Center and he has expressed gratitude and appreciation for our services to the local population.
For us it has been very encouraging to feel that we are part of the big network of services of Meru County, and that the Government supports us.
We thank our Minister for help for the long time he has dedicated to our mission today. We actually appreciate also the fact that he has given us a strong moral support for our job amongst the mentally disabled.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our County Rep. Honorable Julius Mbijiwe who has escorted Dr Muraah today in his visit to our hospital.
Honorable Julius Mbijiwe has always been a very vocal supporter of Cottolengo Mission Hospital, he has helped us a lot and he has facilitated donations of drugs and food to the hospital, not to mention the secondment of Dr Khadija, for which we sincerely thank Dr Muraah, Hon Julius Mbijiwe and the whole County Government of Meru.
The Minister and Hon Mbijiwe have highly appreciated the new maternity ward, and they have promised us support in the running of the maternity services in future.
They have greatly appreciated our ambulance service to the facility of Kaongo, and maybe in future also to the one of Giaki.
It has been a very positive visit and, together with Bro Giancarlo, we are very grateful to our Minister and County Rep.
